Camping has always been part of the show. Year on year more people decide to brave to April night camping on the field after the show.
For 2010 we are planning on providing the same oasis of warmth and good quality entertainment into the night.
We listened to your feedback from the 2009 show and have taken all your comments on-board, and made many little improvements in the organisation all round.
The camping ticket gives you a lot more than just somewhere to sleep for the night. The marquee will provide a warm and cozy refuge from the fresh April night, The marquee will be warm too. A decent covered and heated space with bar and entertainments stage, perfect for ending the day with the right friendly vibe.
After the success of last year's show closers Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs we knew we had to come up with something as fun and challenging, but how do you follow on from an act like that? Despite many requests to rebook them we decided to have something different this year.
The post show party finale will be and audio visual feast brought to you by no less than founder member of Hawkwind, Nik Turner with and all star band comprising of members of Space Ritual, Hawkwind, Inner City Unit and other if Nik's musical projects. The band will be accompanied by a laser light show provided by ex-Space Ritual and Pink Floyd lighting technician Justin Illuminarté.
We the organisers, would love you to stay for the party and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible after the show to enjoy the entertainment and to get your views on the day and thoughts for improvements for the following year. It is your experiences and suggestions we are interested in, it is visitor feedback that allows us to improve and grow the show from one year to the next so don't miss this opportunity to tell us how we can make a great show even better!
