Silent Sound Systems confirmed as back for this year again so I can guarrantee there won't be some nutters in the corner of the field having a loud rave all night keeping everyone awake... they'll all be cutting shapes in the silent disco til 5am like last year ... silently
If you don't know what a silent disco is.... there's a big marquee that's effectively a club full of disco lights and things and two sets of DJ decks.
When you walk in you get a pair of headphones, they're wireless and have a switch on them A or B. The two DJ booths play different stuff and you can choose which or A or B you listen to in the club.
Great to be part of and also great to watch.....
last year the Bike Club who provided security and the main marquee and a load of help... were all in there all denim and leather playing air guitar and rocking out to ACDC and the like while a load of people in brightly coloured clothes waving glowsticks were havin' it large to some banging techno.

Life long VW owner and founder member of 70's rock band "Hawkwind" to star this years festival along with Meurig 'D.W.' Griffiths, (ex-Madonna drummer) and other co stars from Hawkwind and Space Ritual.
With Nik known for burning the candle at both ends, this appearance will be no different.

Popular funky dance band Dux-De-Lux return to Elemental for 2010 bringing their own unique mix of fun and high quality music.

Lead by dubber and regular attendee of the show, Duncan Boon. Loaded Rock will be playing a selection of covers by Rage Against the Machine, The CUlt, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, ACDC and some mash-ups in the marquee throughout the afternoon.

Work has begun on the new Elemental VW Show website. We're not just improving the show for 2010, the website is getting a major overhaul too.
The aim of the rebuild is to prove all the information you need in one place so that you can refer back to it at any time whether you're one of our day visitors and exhibitors, looking for information on the over night camping or want to know more about how to book a trade pitch for your business or a club display pitch for your VW owners club.

We can confirm the show date for 2010 will be Saturday 10th April 2010.
The show will be held at its regular venue, the Mountfitchet Mathematics & Computing College.

We respectfully request all those who stay overnight vacate their pitches by midday. We welcome any volunteer help to clear the field during the day.
